This video, taken on April 11th in my atrium, shows the metamorphosis of one of my Monarch caterpillars. 5 caterpillars transformed that day. Be patient, things really start happening about 2 minutes into the video. The caterpillar is shedding its skin. It’s like the caterpillar is taking its coat off and throwing it away and revealing what’s really underneath. It’s utterly amazing.
