Mockingbird Chronicles Part III

I thought I’d look up the spiritual meaning of Mockingbirds given their presence in my life right now.

Whenever the mockingbird arrives, look for opportunities to sing forth your own song.  Follow your own path.  Learn to take what you can and apply your own creative imagination and intuition to it, so that you sing it forth in the manner and tone that is most harmonious for you and your life.  ~ Animal Speak: The Spiritual & Magical Powers of Creatures Great & Small by Ted Andrews

Seems rather appropriate as I’m in a transition phase figuring out what I want to do next with my life and looking inward for clues.  Or maybe there’s a correlation to the choir I recently re-joined?  Or maybe just a message about finding a voice that’s my own?  Which is kind of funny because I’m slowly working my way through a book about the chakras and the chapter I read just days prior to the beginning of this saga was about the throat chakra – a chakra about finding and using your voice.
