January 12th: I am thankful for my husband, who cooked dinner for me last night even though he was tired. He made it possible for me to serve dinner at the homeless shelter and still come home and eat a healthy meal together with him. Had he not I would’ve raided the cupboard and ate alone. I am also thankful for the opportunity to serve dinner to those who are unable to make a meal of their own, for the opportunity to offer some kindness during difficult times.
