Mockingbird Chronicles Part IV

This morning’s target, a squirrel.  I couldn’t get to the phone fast enough for a high quality video, but trust me, it was hilarious.  Prior to this high wire act both Mockingbirds chased the squirrel along the fence line on one side of my yard.  The squirrel was running so fast it skimmed the tops of the hedge lining the fence.  And then for some crazy reason it decided it needed to be on the other side of the yard so it climbed the pole and ran across the wires into the tree, one Mockingbird hot on its tail.

Crows and ravens are also targets and I’ve seen them chase several of these birds that are 10 times their size out of the yard.
