July 15: There are a multitude of small moments this past week to be grateful for:
- This morning I found baby Monarch caterpillars in my garden. This always brings great joy.
- I love sending mail which makes me grateful for the variety of fun, creative, and beautiful postage stamps that I can find at the post office to embellish my envelopes.
- An unexpected red-threaded trinket that arrived in the mail from a friend with this note: An invisible red thread connect those who are destined to meet regardless of time, place or circumstance. The thread may stretch or tangle, but it will never break.
- Learning and practicing a new word — Etegami.
- An extremely long overdue date with my cousin and her husband.
- The days are less humid and hot……..somewhat.
- Another eye-opening book, Hillbilly Elegy by JD Vance.
- An inspirational Skype with a friend.
- Enjoying the music of the WHO in a park on a beautiful summer evening with old and new friends.

What a great list. Rich. I love it when I find the perfect stamp for the design or content of my cards and letters, too—
Your week was full, and inspirational.
The red thread from your friend was very special. What a nice idea!
