March 28: I’m grateful today for the neighbor or postal employee who, instead of returning this card to sender, recognized the street number was wrong and corrected it. This person facilitated the delivery of “mailbox magic”, a phrase coined by a group of my friends for the unexpected surprise of fun cheery mail. I don’t care what anybody says, email and text may be convenient, but they do not replace the excitement of receiving something personal and tangible and sometimes decorated in the mailbox.
And I’m grateful to my aunt for thinking of me and sending me such a positive note. I am creating my own sunshine with this blog.

There’s nothing like mailbox magic. I love it too!
