I smile at you because

I smile at you because I recognize and acknowledge you.  We all just want to be seen, to not be invisible.  I don’t want to be invisible.  I don’t want to make you feel invisible.  It doesn’t matter that you’re not like me.  I smile at you because you are a human being.
